Job Title : Medical Lab Technician

Shift : Mid 2x10-Hour (13 : 00 - 23 : 30); Night 2x10-Hour (20 : 00 - 06 : 00)
Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week
Experience : 1 year of experience required; traveler experience required
License : Wisconsin / compact license required
Certifications : ASCP Certified
Must-Have : Experience in all four areas of the lab required; Epic and Soft experience preferred
Job Description :
- Work in an acute care hospital with 247 total staffed beds.
- Perform laboratory tasks across various specialties including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank.
- Computer charting experience preferred, specifically with Epic and Soft software.
- Weekend shifts are required.
- Participate in an 8-hour orientation process.
- Must adhere to facility requirements for flu vaccination with exemptions only for medical or religious reasons.
- Complete modules within the first 8 hours of orientation, typically averaging 3-4 hours.
- Locals accepted within a 50-mile radius.
- Return staff policy requires a 1-year gap to return as a traveler.
- Unable to accommodate latex allergy.
