Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.

Shift: Shift 1
A week: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
B week: Monday, Friday
Start time vary between 730-815
Weekend rotation (approx 5 per year) No holidays or call

Job Summary:
Performs high quality diagnostic sonographic examinations and assists physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.Provides guidance and instruction for students, residents, and other technologists as needed. Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
Graduate of a program accredited by an agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), United States Department of Education (USDOE) or Canadian Medical Association (CMA), that specifically conducts programmatic accreditation for diagnostic medical sonography/diagnostic cardiac sonography/vascular technology. Currently the only organizations that offer programmatic accreditation under the aforementioned associations are the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and the Canadian Medical Association (CMA).
Completion of ARRT approved program is required for incumbents that also function as a Radiologic Technologist.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
Breast experience is preferred, but willing to train the best talent!
LICENSE DESCRIPTION:
ARDMS certified in breast ultrasound and physics or certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with advanced certification through ARRT in Breast Sonography (BS) is required within 12 months of hire for ARRT and 9 months for ARDMS.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire
