Who we're looking for :
An individual who will direct the business development activities within a defined market to meet company short and long-term goals by demonstrating technical understanding and strong collaborative and leadership skills.
What you will be doing :
- Develop relationships and opportunities for F&R to be considered for projects, increase exposure and build F&R brand within the market
- Utilizing F&R's CRM system, partner with branch and or regional leadership to implement a business development plan that outlines the level of activity needed to meet or exceed branch goals, including the maintenance of existing clients and pursuit of new relationships that are in line with overall strategic objectives.
- Seek out and cultivate long term business relationships within industry, navigating the sales process to influence decision makers at all levels, share proven best practice solutions, craft specific solutions for the specific customer and assist clients in taking actions to reduce costs, reduce risk and increase customer service levels. Understand and meet client expectations.
- Develop partnerships with professional and operational staff and coordinate BD commitments / activities of the operations staff to ensure that they are contributing to the success of the branch's BD efforts
- Staging and leading internal and external meetings
- Reviewing and tracking electronic lead sources for potential revenue
- Assisting in the preparation of RFP responses, SOQs, and other written submittals
- Be able to recognize trends that need to be addressed and / or capitalized on behalf of the company
- Join and participate in industry focused networking groups and events
- Encourage, assist, and direct capable professionals and other staff to engage in business development related activities
- Other duties as assigned.
