Who we are looking for :
The Information Systems Administrator will be responsible for administering, implementing, and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of critical systems. This role involves managing network infrastructure, servers, virtualization platforms, and enterprise applications while overseeing security operations and compliance. The administrator will also provide advanced technical support, lead system troubleshooting efforts, and assist with strategic IT initiatives to enhance efficiency and resilience.
What you'll be doing :
Specific duties include, but not limited to :
- Configure, deploy, and maintain enterprise IT systems, including workstations, servers, and network infrastructure (LAN / WAN).
- Administer and manage Microsoft environments, including Active Directory (AD), Microsoft 365 (M365), Exchange, Certificates Authority, DNS, and DHCP.
- Manage Hyper-V virtualization infrastructure, ensuring high availability, resource allocation, and performance optimization.
- Maintain the security and integrity of network, server, and endpoint systems by implementing and enforcing best practices, security policies, and compliance measures.
- Administer and manage network equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points, ensuring optimal performance of LAN, WAN, and WiFi networks
- Manage firewall and network security configurations and VPN / Direct Access solutions.
- Monitor and respond to security threats, perform risk assessments, and support incident response efforts.
- Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for Android OS and other mobile platforms.
- Provide elevated support for escalated service requests, working closely with the IT helpdesk and end users to resolve complex technical issues.
- Administer and maintain VoIP infrastructure to ensure secure and efficient communications, including call routing, traffic management, and security enforcement.
- Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and operational procedures for IT support and system administration.
- Assist with IT strategy planning, infrastructure upgrades, and technology adoption to improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze user needs and recommend appropriate hardware and software solutions to management.
- Perform other IT-related responsibilities as needed.
