We are seeking a Sr. Data Scientist, Applied Research to join our growing Product Team, reporting to the Director of Product, Data and Insights. This role will play a critical part in ensuring that our products are deeply informed by both user research and data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will be an expert in conducting user research-both qualitative and quantitative-while applying rigorous methodologies, frameworks, and analysis techniques to ensure accuracy and eliminate bias.
In addition to user research, this role requires strong analytical skills to work with complex datasets, apply statistical methods, and interpret insights that inform product and business opportunities. This individual will collaborate closely with product team members and the strategy and growth teams, with a strong partnership alongside the Director of Product, Data and Insights, to organize, analyze, and activate data to deliver actionable opportunities for innovation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- User Research :
Design, plan, and execute qualitative and quantitative user research studies to uncover educator needs, behaviors, and pain points.
Partner closely with the Product Team, Strategy & Growth Team, and the Director of Product, Data and Insights to ensure research and data are integrated into product and business decisions.
