Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Coordinator to support our growing organization by managing key pre-employment activities, streamlining onboarding processes, and ensuring compliance with DHSS guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Employment Support

Coordinate federal background checks through IdentoGo and ensure the timely completion of other pre-employment requirements, such as drug screenings and reference checks.

Act as the primary point of contact for candidates during the pre-employment process, providing clear communication and guidance.

Maintain accurate records of all pre-employment activities to ensure compliance and facilitate reporting.
Onboarding Management

Conduct onboarding sessions for new hires, introducing them to company policies, procedures, and expectations.

Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed accurately, thoroughly, and in compliance with legal and organizational requirements.

Address onboarding-related questions and provide support to ensure new employees have a smooth start.
Reporting

Pull reports for Anniversaries and Birthdays.

Send out Roster Reports to multiple departments.
Administrative Support

Maintain up-to-date and compliant records for all hiring and onboarding activities.

Assist with other HR projects and initiatives as needed to support the department's goals.
Recruiting Support:

Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and job specifications.

Develop and post job advertisements on various job boards and social media platforms.

Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.

Conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate suitability.

Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.

Manage the candidate database and track recruiting metrics.

Communicate effectively with candidates throughout the hiring process.

Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies.
Qualifications
Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

1-2 years of experience in an HR, recruiting, or administrative role, with a focus on pre-employment or onboarding preferred.
Skills and Competencies

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ATS and HRIS systems.
