As a Personal Assistant at From The Heart Home Care LLC, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality care to our clients. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean living environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions.
- Create and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
- Assist clients during transportation to appointments or events as needed.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client progress.
Qualifications
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.
- Experience in senior care or personal assistance is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to confidentiality is essential.
- Ability to create and follow detailed care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus but not mandatory.
- Physical capability to assist clients with mobility, including lifting when necessary.
