What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credit Specialist position at Fromm Family Foods?
Credit Specialists are responsible for auditing credit requests from our partners for reimbursement on free goods authorized by Fromm. This includes products from our frequent buyer program, discounts, and promotions. The credit specialist may be asked to support other areas as needed. Occasional overtime will be required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Carefully audit back-up documentation supplied by distribution in various forms, checking promotion requirements and pricing, using Microsoft Excel as the main tool.
2. Communicate with distribution regarding discrepancies and status of credits.
3. Communicate internally with field reps regarding expenditures.
4. Navigate internal systems used to track promotions.
5. Personal control of select accounts, meeting necessary timelines.
6. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skill
· Strong organizational and problem solving skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Microsoft Excel and Word experience
· High School Diploma
· Preferred accounting or clerical experience or pursuit of related degree
