Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Enforce laws, regulations, and company policies while maintaining a visible security presence.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities, ensuring all security equipment is functional.
- Utilize surveillance systems, including CCTV, to monitor activities within the premises.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for investigations or emergencies.
- Provide assistance in conflict management situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.
- Administer first aid or CPR in emergencies until professional medical help arrives.
Skills
- Certification in armed security or law enforcement is preferred.
- Experience in military or law enforcement roles is advantageous.
- Proficient in conflict management strategies to handle difficult situations effectively.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques.
- Ability to operate CCTV systems for monitoring purposes.
- First aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff, visitors, and law enforcement.
