Claims Adjuster

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster to investigate, assess, and resolve claims related to property damage and liability incidents and One Call within our power construction operations. This role requires close coordination with field teams and insurance providers to ensure fair and efficient claim resolutions while protecting company interests.
Responsibilities
- Review and process submitted claims, gather information from involved parties, and determine initial coverage eligibility.
- Conduct on-site inspections of damaged property, vehicles, or work areas, document findings, and take photographs.
- Interview claimants, witnesses, and internal teams to determine liability and establish claim details.
- Estimate repair costs and claim value based on industry standards and company guidelines.
- Communicate with claimants, legal teams, and insurance representatives to negotiate settlements.
- Identify and report potential fraudulent claims while ensuring proper documentation.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of investigations, claim resolutions, and settlement agreements.
- Work with legal teams on complex claims that may lead to litigation.
- Provide professional and timely communication to claimants throughout the claims process.
Requirements
This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, along with an in-depth understanding of insurance policies, industry regulations, and claims adjusting procedures in the power construction industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in claims adjusting within the power construction, utility, or infrastructure industries.
- Adjuster’s License (if required by state).
- OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of: Insurance policies, liability principles, claims adjusting procedures, and industry regulations.
Skills in: Analytical assessment, damage evaluation, claims negotiation, documentation, and communication.
Ability to: Conduct thorough investigations, negotiate settlements, manage multiple claims, and collaborate with legal teams.
