SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing security services for residents and employees of the organization. Protects from and responds to fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The duties listed below are essential functions of the position that must be performed to effectively perform the position in at least an acceptable manner as defined by Front Porch. In the future, other duties may be assigned and may also be considered essential functions of the position.
- Patrols inside and outside grounds of the Community including lobbies, corridors and public rooms, access points of the facility to ensure safety and security of residents and staff.
- Responds to fire alarms, emergency call switch activation and other emergencies.
- Warns violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles, and devises, reports or expels persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
- Investigates and completes resident loss reports and incident reports, gives copies to supervisor and maintains a file on them.
- Keeps accurate log of shift activities.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 20% of the time
