Window loader / Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. This job requires loading and unloading windows/doors by hand multiple times daily. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to operate different types of vehicles, including box trucks.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
• Load and unload products and materials, utilizing equipment when necessary.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations. Photos via phone, etc.
• Will constantly be moving products within the warehouse on and off of trucks.
• Will need to do appointments to install screens, deliver and adjust (or install) windows and doors. Being handy is a major plus.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred. (must be approved by company insurance carrier)
• Experience with load unloading procedures and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Previous route driving experience is advantageous.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with moving products.
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
• Ability to work well on a small team and get the job done!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
