Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting:

  • Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled, and financial statements comply with GAAP (globally) and IFRS (regionally)
  • Lead the preparation of financial reports, commentary, and analysis to support executive decision-making
  • Assist in budget preparation and forecasting, ensuring financial accuracy and alignment with company goals
  • M&A Integration

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3-5 accountants, fostering a high-performance culture. Partner with Accounting Team in Germany.
  • Manage workload allocation, set performance goals, and conduct regular evaluations.
  • Process Improvement & Compliance:
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
  • Drive process improvements within accounting operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support external audit and tax processes, liaising with auditors and tax firms
  • Oversee financial system integrations and ERP enhancements (NetSuite preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 6 years of accounting/finance experience, including public accounting and industry experience
  • Strong leadership and team management experience
  • Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups)
  • Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)

Preferred:

  • CPA or CMA certification
  • Experience in a consumer product company or ecommerce environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Salary - $175,000 - $225,000 per annum
