IT Architect
For a CRO (Frontage Laboratories, Inc. – Exton, PA): install and configure backup System to all system business units; perform data recovery tests by using Veritas Backup Exec and Veeam for all systems assigned to ensure data integrity and reliability; implement disaster recovery strategies, including database recovery in virtual machines; execute electronic data archival as a primary archivist; intercommunicate with third-party backup sites, Iron Mountain and ensure backup data are securely stored; manage various software applications including E-Workbook, Watson LIMS, Veeam, Symantec Backup Exec, VMware, SIMOA and Jira; configure and operate E-Workbook and Watson LIMS for business units at various company sites; participate in system testing for validation of applications or software, supporting the CSV team with various validation projects; administer and support system users and any relevant system administration tasks; manage production issues and resolution within the application team; perform and organize periodic reviews of application systems managed; manage SIMOA data conversion and promptly address ad-hoc user requests; and provide vital information related to backup evidence to the security team for the ISO27001 PROJECT.
Requirements:
- Master of Science or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 6 months of experience in the job offered or 6 months of experience in managing website infrastructure. Experience must include building website interfaces with HTML5 and CSS3 and testing and debugging program outputs. Experience can be gained while pursuing degree.
- Proficiency in programming languages Python, Java and JavaScript and database tools SQL and MongoDB.
- National Telecommuting.
Work Location: Exton, PA.
Hours: 40 per week - Monday through Friday.
