About the Role
We are seeking qualified Generator Service Technicians for our Generator Service & Maintenance Division. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and testing generators ranging from 5 kw to 4000 kw, while delivering outstanding service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test generator systems (5 kw to 4000 kw)
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork
- Interpret and apply technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Requirements
Requirements
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with relevant experience, particularly in diesel generators
- Experience in technical fields, such as automotive, transportation, commercial / residential electric, or similar military background is a plus
- Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, on-call rotations, and occasional travel or overnight stays
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment, forklifts, and mobile cranes in compliance with OSHA regulations
- Certified Journeyman Electrician preferred but not required
