Position Summary : We are seeking a passionate, talented, and experienced Studio Director to lead its innovative and fast-growing New York City studio. The successful candidate will work directly with Partners and the Design Director to manage and direct the studio and project teams, ensuring design and technical excellence, client satisfaction, and exceptional project delivery.Responsibilities : Lead all project teams, overseeing project managers, designers, and client relationships.Provide clear team direction to ensure design and technical excellence.Foster a collaborative and healthy team culture and work practices.Collaborate with the Design and Creative Directors to achieve project goals.Present to external client groups and chair client meetings.Manage project budgets and administer contracts.Ensure project management processes are followed, including quality assurance, peer reviews, and project health reports.Address technical issues in projects and stay updated on industry best practices.Coordinate with the Financial Management team on budgets, invoices, billing projections, and accounts receivable.Attend billing meetings and manage internal budgets.Conduct daily and weekly team meetings, including check-ins with project leaders.Oversee staffing projections, reviews, and approvals of timesheets.Participate in global staffing meetings and workload scheduling.Provide mentorship and facilitate team performance reviews.Vet and interview potential candidates.Solicit proposals from consultants and prepare client proposals.Participate in responding to RFPs and generating fee proposals.Negotiate contracts and pricing.Develop new business and client relationships.Support MSP branding through speaking engagements, publications, and leadership board involvement.Uphold office protocols and ensure team compliance.Participate in the development of mentorship programs.Monitor team morale and foster a collaborative environment.Qualifications : Education & Registration : Registered Landscape Architect.Experience : At least 7 years of professional experience in a landscape architecture firm.Excellent leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to inspire and uphold high-performance standards.Strategic and collaborative work approach.Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Openness to national and international travel.Well-connected in the regional market and with global networks.Proficiency in industry-standard software.Strong understanding of QA / QC processes, construction documentation, and administration.Experienced in reviewing shop drawings and overseeing construction administration.Flexible work from home options available.#J-18808-Ljbffr
