Prepress Technician- Offset Web (2nd Shift : 3PM-11PM)
Menomonee Falls, WI
The Prepress Technician is responsible for the overall production of digital data as supplied by customers or created within the Department for the purpose of supporting the digital workflow necessary to create the proofs and plates used in the printing process.
This role is eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus!
WHAT YOU'LL DO ON THE A-TEAM :

- Preflighting files and downloading data to servers for plate-ready / native application files.
- Page layout (Adobe InDesign), color retouching (Adobe Photoshop), PDF editing (Adobe Acrobat), and page imposition (Preps).
- Digital proofing (Epson proofs, Reader Proofs) and quality control of impositions.
- Creating plate imposition templates and reviewing outputs for accuracy.
- Operating platesetters, plate benders, and maintaining equipment calibration / chemistry.
- Collaborating with the Premedia Manager on housekeeping, confidentiality, and preventative maintenance.
