Our client, a global leader in logistics and supply chain management, specializes in delivering comprehensive Freight Forwarding solutions across international and domestic borders. Leveraging a robust network of partners and advanced technology, the company ensures seamless, efficient, and cost-effective transportation of goods worldwide.

The Sales Manager Air Export will be responsible for driving business growth by acquiring and managing a portfolio of clients, with a focus on Air Export services. This individual will play a critical role in developing new business opportunities, increasing market share, and maintaining strong relationships with clients to achieve sales and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct research, prospecting, and qualification of new business opportunities.
  • Perform customer visits to establish and strengthen relationships within the assigned geographical area.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned financial budgets for volume, revenue, and profit.
  • Close new business deals and facilitate the onboarding of new clients.
  • Drive growth within the existing client base by identifying and pursuing upselling opportunities.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Address customer requests related to commercial activities in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor and maintain clients credit lines within company guidelines.
  • Perform weekly follow-ups with new clients after their initial shipments.
  • Work with the Pricing team to develop client pricing strategies and generate competitive rate quotes.
  • Deploy contract information to all relevant parties to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  • Adhere to client service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure all commitments are met.
  • Maintain and update the companys CRM system to track activities, leads, and client information.
  • Provide regular updates and monthly budget reviews to management.

Qualifications :

  • Demonstrated ability to bring over current clients or develop new business (no non-compete restrictions).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
  • High commitment to client satisfaction, going above and beyond to meet client needs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems.
