Sales Manager - International Air Export Freight Sales

Our client a global leader in logistics and supply chain management specializes in delivering comprehensive Freight Forwarding solutions across international and domestic borders. Leveraging a robust network of partners and advanced technology the company ensures seamless efficient and costeffective transportation of goods worldwide.

The Sales Manager Air Export will be responsible for driving business growth by acquiring and managing a portfolio of clients with a focus on Air Export services. This individual will play a critical role in developing new business opportunities increasing market share and maintaining strong relationships with clients to achieve sales and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct research prospecting and qualification of new business opportunities.
  • Perform customer visits to establish and strengthen relationships within the assigned geographical area.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned financial budgets for volume revenue and profit.
  • Close new business deals and facilitate the onboarding of new clients.
  • Drive growth within the existing client base by identifying and pursuing upselling opportunities.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Address customer requests related to commercial activities in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor and maintain clients credit lines within company guidelines.
  • Perform weekly followups with new clients after their initial shipments.
  • Work with the Pricing team to develop client pricing strategies and generate competitive rate quotes.
  • Deploy contract information to all relevant parties to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  • Adhere to client service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure all commitments are met.
  • Maintain and update the companys CRM system to track activities leads and client information.
  • Provide regular updates and monthly budget reviews to management.

Qualifications :

  • Demonstrated ability to bring over current clients or develop new business (no noncompete restrictions).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
  • High commitment to client satisfaction going above and beyond to meet client needs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems.
