Senior Clinical Trainer
About the Role : Frontera Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Trainer to drive the training and development of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) across our New Mexico and Colorado locations. This senior-level role will be essential in ensuring that RBTs and BCBAs are equipped with critical skills in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and possess the tools and mindset to thrive. This position will focus on not only training and development but also building an adaptive culture of learning and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do :
- Lead the Development of Clinical Training Programs : Design and implement a comprehensive BT / RBT training curriculum aligned with the 40-hour RBT training standards set by the BACB, with a focus on driving ABA competency and program leadership.
- Drive Innovative and Interactive Training : Conduct engaging virtual training sessions for incoming Behavior Technicians, utilizing creative approaches to facilitate learning and retention.
- Support Certification and Competency : Provide exam preparation support, including study materials, mock exams, and competency evaluations to help BTs pass the RBT exam. Conduct ongoing competency assessments to maintain high standards of care.
- Facilitate Onboarding and Continuing Education : Lead onboarding for new BCBAs, ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles, and host bi-weekly training sessions for new trainees, as well as continuing education for RBTs and BCBAs.
- Equip and Train for Data Capture : Facilitate internal and external training with clinic partners utilizing our technology.
- Leadership in Process and Culture Development : Build a culture of accountability, best practices, and continuous improvement by communicating process changes effectively and modeling professional behaviors.
- Collaborate on Curriculum Improvement : Partner with Lead BCBAs to enhance the student analyst curriculum, promoting ongoing growth and competency across the clinical team.
- Develop Cross-Functional Relationships : Work closely with clinical leadership and other departments to align training with organizational goals and industry standards.
- Establish RBT Leveling Program Standards : Design standards for an RBT leveling program based on competency assessments to encourage growth within the team.
- Administer HIPAA and Safety Training : Conduct monthly training on HIPAA compliance, patient safety, and emergency protocols.
