A healthcare facility in Tucson, AZ, is seeking two experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) for locum tenens coverage in a newly opened 6-bed Newborn Nursery within a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit. This role involves a mix of telehealth and inpatient care, requiring 24 / 7 call coverage.
Responsibilities :
- Provide care for 1-6 newborns per shift in a brand new, state-of-the-art 6-bed nursery.
- Conduct morning rounds on all newly admitted newborns.
- Provide telehealth support and call coverage as needed throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with medical staff, including neonatologists and nursing teams, to ensure optimal patient care.
