FTD - Cashier

Job Purpose:

To process all cash transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. Duties will include greeting customers when entering and leaving the store. Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area and keep reports of cash and credit transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service
• Collect cash payments and make change
• Operate registers and credit card/debit card terminals
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and perform cash drawer drops and closeouts
• Serve as customer point of contact and answer customer inquiries
• Provide product information including description and warehouse location to customers in support of sales
• Receive, oversee the fulfillment of, and track outgoing large orders from key customers.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace
• Other activities as requested

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Customer Service and sales experience
• Cashier experience
• Speak Spanish fluently
• Candidates must be physically able to stand and maintain motion throughout the day. Must be able to bend, lift and reach.

Additional Notes:

• The warehouse is not climate controlled and experiences low temperatures in the winter and high temperatures in the summer.
