What are the responsibilities and job description for the Harvest Temp - Mobile Seed Plant Operator position at Frontier Agriculture?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for one of the UK's best workplaces as measured by the Great Place to Work Institute. Based at our Hermitage site we are currently looking to recruit harvest workers to join our business on a full-time temporary basis through our spring season, from February to mid-March , with the potential to return for ’s Summer harvest.
Roles and Responsibilities :
The successful candidate will be part of a small team whose responsibilities will include but are not limited to :
- Driving to farms following our Mobile Seed Processing Plant in a company van
- Processing farm saved seed on site
- Assisting with setting up the processor
- Checking the quality of bags to be filled
- Liaising with the operator to maintain good levels of stock
- Ensuring the site / machinery is clean, tidy and Health and safety processes are always adhered to
- To establish good and safe working practices
- Always providing a high level of service and customer care
Skills and Experience :
No previous experience is required however, Agricultural, Engineering or Grain handling experience would be an advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. A full UK driving license is required for this role.
