This position is responsible for application support of the FBH Helpdesk and all initial contacts for support and troubleshooting of end-user requests in a timely manner. In addition, the functions of this position include, agency wide computer application training and basic skills assessment and training, documenting processes and procedures, assisting with compiling, transmission, and error correction of the information transmitted to the Spokane County Regional Behavioral Health -Administrative Services Organization Information System (SCRBH- \ASO IS), assisting the Data Analysts with implementation, maintenance, documentation of FBH’s systems, writing Crystal Reports, as needed, and assisting the technical side of the Helpdesk when necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Facilitates the Technical Training needs of the agency.
- Receive, resolve, distribute, and track all requests for assistance in Help Desk Tracking system.
- Responsible for the First Level of the Application Support needs of FBH.
- Resolves issues in a timely manner during regular scheduled hours and after hours, as needed.
- Effectively communicates relevant IT-related information to managers and leaders.
- Communicates effectively with FBH staff to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions and strategies.
- Works through complex processes for payor submissions (e.g., Service voids, Automation Manager, file transfers etc., on a daily basis.
- Supports end users in FBH Application password resets, troubleshooting, configurations and functionality.
- Supports and manages FBH Application backend processes (e.g., Connector, queue management, batch processes, file management, etc.).
- Engage in coverage for co-workers’ responsibilities as needed.
- Lends expertise to internal teams and task forces.
- Reinforces team approach throughout practice both on FBH projects and external initiatives.
- Supports and solicits input from team members at all levels within the organization.
- Continually defines ways to increase internal and external customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships ensuring a positive experience with FBH IS.
- Assists in Disaster Recovery planning and backup routines.
- Create, review, and update process and procedure documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
REQUIRED:
- Three or more years’ experience supporting computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite products, technical writing experience.
PREFERRED:
- Relevant Associates Degree
- Certifications in knowledge-based areas
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees with varied level of IS competence.
This temporary position pays $17.31 per hour. It is not benefit eligible.
