Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Garage Door Service Manager to join our team. The Service Manager is responsible for the Service Department in a geographical zone/area. They manage the Service Projects, Preventative Maintenance Contracts, Technicians, and Service Department Staff (Inside Sales & Warehouse) in their area. Service Managers oversee the scheduling of service-related jobs and work with the New Construction Team to coordinate job fluidity. They are also the main Sales contact for Direct-to-Customer projects in their area.
Duties
- Team Management: Supervise and train technicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company standards.
- Scheduling: Coordinate service appointments and manage workloads efficiently.
- Customer Relations: Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive service experience.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels of parts and tools, placing orders as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company and industry standards.
- Reporting: Maintain records of service activities, technician performance, and customer feedback.
