POSITION DESCRIPTION
Frontier Building Supply in Anacortes is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Millwork Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves selling a wide range of millwork products such as doors, windows, trim, moulding, and custom woodwork to builders, contractors, designers, and homeowners. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction or building materials, excellent communication skills, and a passion for customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in the residential and commercial construction markets.
- Provide product knowledge and technical support to clients, ensuring the best solutions are recommended.
- Prepare and present estimates, quotes, and proposals based on customer specifications and project plans.
- Collaborate with internal departments (purchasing, operations, delivery) to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Stay current on industry trends, product innovations, and competitor offerings.
- Maintain a detailed CRM of client communications, sales activity, and pipeline forecasting.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
- Manage service and warranty on product.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of sales experience, preferably in building materials, millwork, or construction.
- Strong knowledge of millwork products, including doors, moulding, trim, cabinetry, and windows.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and architectural drawings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software; experience with point-of-sale or estimating software is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client site visits.
PAY
$22.50-per hour commission
SCHEDULE
Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4pm
