We are now hiring a part-time Software Developer for our Lincoln, NE corporate office. This position offers a unique opportunity to build internal products to increase efficiency contributing to employee satisfaction.
Essential duties :
- Contribute to a software project comprised of various internal tools for Frontier employees.
- Create and update front-end Vue / Vuetify components.
- Develop and maintain API endpoints in Node.js / Express.
- Use Copilot to review and suggest improvements to the existing codebase.
- Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions.
- Assist in troubleshooting and debugging software issues.
- Learn about the agricultural industry and how cooperatives operate.
- Engage with various departments to understand their software needs and provide technical support.
