Job Duties
- Responsible for performing general housekeeping duties (Offices, Restrooms, Staff Areas, Public Spaces)
- Maintain a safe environment in public and work areas
- Set-up special events and rentals
- Maintain the clean appearance of the front entrance of the museum and the parking lots
- Set-up special events and rentals
- Track scheduled events, School Programs and Facility Rentals
- Clean and maintain golf cart fleet
- Assist in snow removal, basic maintenance and furniture moving
Other Duties as Assigned
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of institutional cleaning procedures; knowledge of custodial safety standards and practices; skill in using cleaning equipment and tools; ability to interact effectively with staff, vendors, visitors and facilities rental customers.
Additional Considerations
Dependable, cordial and professional demeanor and interaction with all staff, volunteers and the public.
