WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As a Healthcare Concierge you act as the main point of contact for our members, following up with them throughout the defined processes and providing accurate healthcare benefit information. You will be responsible for documenting all member interactions and escalating queries and concerns appropriately.
This is a full time office based position located at our headquarters in Harlingen, TX.
Primary responsibilities include
- Acting as the main point of contact for all member or provider related questions for all groups, regardless of plan design.
- Answering questions from both members and providers related to claims, appeals, referrals, benefit information, plan design, card usage and Direct Pay related casework.
- Successfully managing all assigned tasks as scheduled on a daily basis, in accordance with company policy.
- Diligently managing assigned email inboxes and alerts as scheduled on a daily basis in accordance with company policy.
- Meeting all designated performance metrics based on call coverage, attendance and case related work.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize the referral process
- Stay current with changes in healthcare policies and regulations.
- Participate in training and leadership meetings to ensure you are knowledgeable with all current and future planned changes and groups.
SOUND LIKE YOU?
- Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a health care setting (including Medical Assistant, CNA, customer service, account management type roles)
- Demonstrated experience with medical terminology including an understanding of health care procedures, medical coding (CPT/ICD10), healthcare regulations and policies.
- Electronic medical records experience
- Experience successfully navigating multiple systems, complex workflows all while meeting sensitive timelines.
- Experience working with health plans and performing prior authorizations.
