JOB TITLE Coordinator Administrative Support Services
SUMMARY:
Responsible for the overall management and supervision of assigned hub to include overseeing proper policies and procedures of the agency at each location within the individual hubs. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training of all support staff to include annual evaluations and all other personnel issues in correlation with the Director of Support Services.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: High School Diploma/GED required. Coursework in general office skills and computer classes preferred.
Licensure: N/A
Certification: N/A
Experience: Experience in medical office setting preferred.
Knowledge/Skills: Verbal/written communication skills.
Knowledge of office equipment and basic office procedures.
Skilled in use of all major computer applications.
EQUIPMENT:
Computer, fax, copier and any other equipment required to perform the functions of the position.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Selects, trains, disciplines and evaluates performance of employees.
2. Recommends pay adjustments for employees.
3. Organizes and schedules employee work activities.
4. Maintains a safe work environment by identifying and correcting potentially unsafe conditions and work practices.
5. Maintains a positive working climate within and across departmental functions.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Plan and coordinate meetings with support staff throughout hubs to dispense new policies and procedures.
2. Interact with Clinical Site Directors at each location to assure continuity of policies and
procedures.
3. Maintain working knowledge of major aspects of each support position in an effort to
provide adequate coverage when needed.
4. Maintain contact with support staff by visiting the sites on a regular basis and meeting with support staff members about site-specific situations and/or problems.
5. Assist support staff with consumer concerns and/or complaints concerning program issues in relation to scheduling and other support issues not directly related to clinical needs of consumer.
6. Attend and participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings and inservices and individual
program planning staffings as needed.
7. All other duties as assigned.
