What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer- Marketing - Full Time position at Frontier Health?
SUMMARY:
Responsible for Graphic Design work that follows brand standards and help with printed marketing materials. This position may involve some travel to help set up and break down for events or for creative content such as videos and photographs. The graphic designer will assist both the Frontier Health marketing department and the Frontier Health Foundation. Requires a detailed knowledge of software program functionally.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: BS Degree in graphic design, or equivalent combination of educationand 2 years’ experience.
Licensure: N/A
Certification: N/A
Experience: •Proven graphic designing experience, strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics, video editing a plus, but not required. Familiarity with design software and technologies (Adobe Creative Suite, Word Press & Microsoft Office Suite)
Knowledge/Skills: Skilled in use of all major computer applications.
Verbal/written communication skills.
SOFTWARE AND EQUIPMENT:
Computer, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, fax, copier and any other equipment required to perform the functions of the position.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Schedule projects and define budget constraints
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic based on brand standards
- Work with creative director to produce final design
- Help maintain websites and social media
- Create digital graphics for websites and social media
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
- Work with Creative Director on creating appealing social posts
- Assist with video production
- Assist with other marketing needs as they arises
