Summary
Performs all types of cable repair, testing and technical analysis including acceptance testing, fiber optic construction and maintenance, transmission / noise isolation, operation of all types of heavy equipment, complex air pressurization problems and sealed plant repair.

Job requires distinguishing wire and cable colorsRequired handling 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionallyPushing, pulling, lifting, and bendingManual dexterity in the performance of tasksWorking at heightsHandling laddersPole Climbing.TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED
Backhoe, cable plow, megger, ohmmeter, pusher, 3M modular splicing unit, locator, DAVAR test equipment, line truck, semi-truck, trailers, CSU and / or aerial devices, various hand / power, splicing and testing tools, shovel and rake, transmission, noise and isolation equipment, attenuation test sets, OTDR, fusion splicing and mechanical fiber splicing tools.May be required to perform additional duties and tasks as required by the Company.Basic Qualifications
