Frontier Communications is looking for a dynamic and experienced Lead Analyst to join our dedicated cyber security team. The Lead Analyst will work very closely under the Business Information Security Officer (BISO) to ensure the security of our business operations, information assets, and technology infrastructure. This position requires a methodical thinker with a technical and analytical background, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to drive effective information security practices with the goal of cyber risk reduction. For this Lead Analyst position, you will become part of the Cyber Business Services team to support the business with key focus on Network Services cyber risks.

Frontier Communications is looking for a dynamic and experienced Lead Analyst to join our dedicated cyber security team. The Lead Analyst will work very closely under the Business Information Security Officer (BISO) to ensure the security of our business operations, information assets, and technology infrastructure. This position requires a methodical thinker with a technical and analytical background, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to drive effective information security practices with the goal of cyber risk reduction. For this Lead Analyst position, you will become part of the Cyber Business Services team to support the business with key focus on Network Services cyber risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- From within the Cyber Business Services team, you will be a key contributor. Helping support and provide strategic insight for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's information security strategy, policies, and programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Network Engineering, Network Architecture, IT, Legal, and other business units with the goal of Cyber risk reduction
- Conduct Rapid Cyber Risk Reviews of key infrastructure, services, processes and/or assets
- Collaborate closely with internal cyber team to aid with cyber risks reviews. Working closely with both the business and the rest of Cyber teams to provide cyber risk reduction strategies that align with the business objectives
- Act as key support person between the Cyber Incident Response Team and the Business, to ensure prompt awareness, response, and resolution.
- Stay up to date and offer regular updates of distilled cyber insight of the latest potentially business impacting cyber incidents, trends, and threats to senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.), is a plus
- Excellent communicator with ability to take complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders, as well as translate non-technical vision statements to the technical realm, is highly desirable
- Analytical mindset with the ability to think strategically to make data-driven Cyber Risk decisions.
- A strong network background is highly desired, ability to prove knowledge of OSI Model as it relates to cyber security
- Experience in two or more of the following is highly desired: risk management, architecture, application security, and incident response
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices is a plus
