POSITION SUMMARY

The Frontier Justice eCommerce Product Manager is responsible for formulating strategies that concern the design and practicality of Frontier Justice’s online shops and digital platforms. They collaborate on decisions to ensure existing frameworks help facilitate the generation of profit. The eCommerce Product Manager should be highly motivated with a strong understanding of eCommerce best practices, customer behavior and digital marketing strategies. They will be responsible for leading the development and optimization of the Frontier Justice online product and service offerings, providing a pathway to empowering experiences for our clients.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Achieve Results

  1. Product Strategy: Define and implement the eCommerce product roadmap, aligning with overall business goals and client needs.
  2. Market Research: Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify trends, client preferences, and opportunities for product enhancement, specifically in the shooting sports, sporting goods and firearms industries.
  3. Data Analysis: Use tools of analysis to track product performance, customer behavior, and conversion metrics. Make data-driven decisions to optimize product offerings.
  4. Collaboration: Work with offsite developers, marketing, and the President to make needed adjustments to the website.
  5. Coordinate: Work with developers to optimize Web site architecture, server configuration, or page construction for search engine consumption and optimal visibility. 
  6. SEO: Conducts search engine optimization to improve performance of the website
  7. Inventory Management: Partner with supply chain and inventory teams to ensure product availability and effective stock management.
  8. Customer Service: Responds daily to customer service requests on the online portal. Provides resolution to customer service requests and complaints.

Operational Excellence

  1. Reports weekly to the President as to any operational issues that might need addressed as well as progress on sales goals/product updates etc.
  2. Recommend changes to improve computer or information systems.
  3. Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Google analytics, Excel) and A/B testing.
  4. Oversee the online order fulfillment process.

Relationships

  1. Customer focused mindset with a passion for improving user experience.
  2. Establish and ensure collaborative, supporting relationships within the entire organization.
  3. Establish and maintain positive, effective relationships with key resources, including VIP members, preferred vendors, and the general public.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ Key Competencies

  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (preferably NetSuite), Website development and platforms (Magento 2 REQUIRED) and SEO strategies.
  • Being able to multi-task, problem solve and process in a rapidly growing and changing environment.
  • Being able to facilitate the level of sales expected through search engine optimization, product uploading, website development, and the unique experience that Frontier Justice offers.

OTHER

  • Normal overtime/extended work hours. 
  • Must be able to physically audit and inspect all operations.
  • This position will be in office full-time.

Requirements

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing or a related field preferred. Experience and certification considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree.

High School diploma required.

EXPERIENCE

Preferably 1-2 years of Ecommerce and/or website management.

Preferably 1-2 years of experience with Magneto or other digital retail platforms.

Experience working with ERP systems a plus.
