Frontier-Kemper Constructors, Inc., a leader in heavy civil construction and underground construction in North America and Canada, is seeking experienced candidates for our Shipping & Receiving Laborer position at our Evansville, Indiana location.
The position is responsible for providing general shipping & receiving services for our shop, projects and locations. This position also provides labor support for our Equipment & Shop Services Department, as needed.

The position is responsible for providing general shipping & receiving services for our shop, projects and locations. This position also provides labor support for our Equipment & Shop Services Department, as needed.
The Essential Functions Of The Position Are
- Loads, transports and unloads materials, supplies and equipment.
- Check in deliveries and match inbound product to Purchase Orders (PO).
- Notifies PO requestors by email, phone, or by delivering product to departments when their order has arrived.
- Process requests for package and freight shipments.
- Maintains safety supplies stock and notifies Operations Manager when supplies need to be ordered.
- Perform other Shipping & Receiving tasks as directed.
- Must have a valid driver’s license to operate forklift and company vehicle(s).
- One year of stable work history, but willing to train.
- Must be skilling in using hand tools, small power tools and forklifts.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate with others effectively.
- Ability to work in a collaborative manner with multiple team members
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors with inclement weather conditions and have regular attendance.
