Production Support Maintenance

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work.
• Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and to detect problems.
• Inspect or test damaged machine parts, and mark defective areas, or advise supervisors of repair needs.
• Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications.
• Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information using the company CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Read PMs, work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
• Set up and operate machines and adjust controls to regulate operations.
• Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment. Inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, and other supplies so that stock can be maintained and replenished.
• Clean machines and machine parts.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of any new production lines and other machinery.
• Maintain a safe work environment using safety glasses, ear plugs, harnesses/lanyards, lockout/tag out, and gloves where required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
