Job OverviewTraffic CoordinatorSummary: Traffic Coordinators are responsible for administering the daily receipt and distribution of customer product. They work alongside the Operations team to maintain an efficient system for picking orders, loading and unloading trucks, and arranging product on the warehouse floor. They allocate pick tickets to forklift operators
They are responsible for communicating with Customer Service Representatives to keep them abreast on the status of customer orders and to ensure accurate documentation.
Traffic Coordinators are in charge of checking-in drivers and directing them to their proper loading/unloading dock.General Duties and Responsibilities
- Final check all orders for accuracy before warehouse loading
- Prioritize loading of trailers with warehouse operations
- Manage daily loading and unloading to meet all cutoffs and coordinate with outside carriers
- Inform CSRs when orders are ready and redistribute paperwork to them in a timely manner
- Greet and direct all drivers to proper location for loading
- Verify driver pickup information with copy of license for customer pickups
- Maintain in/out record of outside carriers
- Assign containers to orders
- Generate reports for CSRs if carriers do not arrive by 3PM
- Input and manage daily shipping pictures
- Give directions to facility
- Copy bills/paperwork
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- At least 1 year of professional administrative experience in an office environment
- Strong organizational skills and system
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
