The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for evaluating market trends, analyzing pricing strategies, and developing data-driven recommendations to optimize profitability and competitiveness. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with pricing models, and a solid understanding of financial and market analysis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand to develop optimal pricing strategies
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of current pricing structures, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and purchasing teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives
- Develop and maintain pricing models, forecasts, and dashboards to support decision-making
- Developing pricing tiers, discounts, and promotional strategies aligned with brand image and customer value perception
- Conduct margin analysis and recommend price adjustments based on cost fluctuations and market conditions
- Provide data-driven insights to improve revenue and profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Assist in pricing negotiations and contract evaluations for new channels or new customers
- Ability to work across departments to design, develop, and maintain an effective and efficient product pricing system
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and economic factors that may impact pricing
- Strives to reduce waste, recycle products whenever possible, and re-use resources when practical
- Works safely at all times, follows safety rules and policies and participates in scheduled training
- Reports injuries and near misses promptly and in required detailed format; proposes corrective action
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, or a related field and 2 years of experience in pricing analysis, financial modeling, or data analysis; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Excellent data analytics, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret such items as highly detailed professional, scientific, and technical journals, and legal documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints from both inside and outside the company. Ability to write speeches, articles, or memo using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to such groups as top management.
