What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist position at Frontier Regional and Union 38?
Frontier Regional School District is seeking 3-day/week Physical Therapists to work 2 days/week at Deerfield Elementary School and 1 day/week at Conway Grammar School for the 2025-2026 school year.
If candidates are interested in a full-time position, this may be combined with Granby Public Schools, which is seeking a 2 day/week Physical Therapist
The physical therapist's responsibilities will include:
Performing evaluations utilizing standardized assessment tools, clinical observations, medical records, educational records, referral documentation, and staff/family/student interviews.
Utilizing evaluations to determine students’ need for services.
Developing and implementing Individual Educational Plans for qualifying students.
Providing direct and consultative services offering specific strategies, programming, and techniques to meet established goals and objectives.
Presenting in-services to educators and parents upon request.
Perform such other tasks and assume such other responsibilities as may from time to time be assigned by the Director of Special Education and/or School Principal
