DENTAL RECEPTIONIST
POSITION SUMMARY
The Dental Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to patients, visitors, and other guests of the organization and maintain remarkable demeanor.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
- Greets patients, visitors and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts them to the appropriate location
- Answers, screens and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments
- Performs basic filing and recordkeeping
- Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items
- Performs administrative and clerical support tasks
- Performs other related duties as assigned

- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
● High School Diploma or equivalent required
● 1 year or more of dental office experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
● Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, sitting, or walking
● Ability to lift at least 50lbs
● Able to bend, stretch, push, pull and move as needed

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS: We have UV air filters, molecule air filters, ReLeaf High Speed air suction in each operatory. We also have a UV light filtration system throughout the entire office as well as negative air pressure vents.
