Overview
Front Line EMSin Boise, Idaho is seeking EMT/AEMT’s (Ground Transport) to join our team.
- Payrange:
- $20.00/HR
- Schedule:
- Full Time: 3 twelve hour shifts per week
- Part Time: 1 to 2 twelve hour shifts per week
- PRN: Shift Pickups as needed (3 max per week)
- Location:

Summary
- The EMT functions as a member of the transport team, scheduled with a Paramedic and practices Basic Life Support (BLS), Intermediate Life Support in a hospital or transport setting.
Responsibilities
- Continuously monitors and reassesses the patient’s status during transport and with other team members provides therapeutic interventions to maintain patient stability
- Incorporates principles of transport physiology and transport safety and clinical assessment during transport
- Through the use of SBAR, shares essential information with team members, physicians, and staff from referring hospitals, emergency personnel and other care facilities
- Identifies patient needs, establishes priorities and provides appropriate interventions
- Collects key information from the physician, medical staff, patient, family, laboratory and other sources
- With a partner, determines priorities for safety and patient care.
- Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities
- Provides assistance with patient ambulation and activity in transporting patients as necessary to include loading and unloading of a patient stretcher in the ambulance.
- Provides warm and caring interaction and customer service to client facility staff and patients
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Education: HS diploma or equivalent
- Licenses/Certifications:
- EMT/ AEMT license for Idaho or REPLICA state.
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification
- Valid driver’s license.
- Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of EMS experience
