About the Role

As a Billing & Collections Support Specialist at Frontline Insurance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of insurance premium payments, performing daily reconciliation of collections, and providing top-notch support on payment-related matters. You will work closely with internal teams to maintain smooth billing and payment operations.

Key Responsibilities

Payment Processing : Accurately process payments via lockbox checks, credit cards, and ACH transactions.

Reconciliation : Reconcile daily collections and resolve discrepancies between third-party vendors and our billing system.

Payment Discrepancies : Handle misdirected payments, reroute them, and communicate with payors to update payment addresses while promoting online payment options.

Returned Payments : Manage returned payments and credit card disputes, ensuring proper action is taken.

Research : Investigate unmatched payments in the system and take appropriate corrective actions.

Disbursements : Review and process disbursements per defined procedures and authority limits.

Administrative Support : Assist with routine administrative tasks and ad-hoc assignments as needed.

What Were Looking For

Education : High School Diploma required (additional qualifications in accounting or finance a plus).

Skills :

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to handle financial tasks with precision and attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Ability to learn more complex Excel functions such as PivotTables.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions independently.

Strong relationship management skills with the ability to deliver excellent customer service.

Experience :

Minimum of two years of experience in a billing, collections, or finance-related role preferred.

Physical Requirements : Ability to sit for extended periods, use hands for typing and processing data, and occasionally stand or walk.
