What You’ll Do:
- Develop, update, and implement rate and rule manuals, underwriting guidelines, and policy coverage forms for regulatory filings.
- Maintain and manage insurance policy forms, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct competitive market analysis, including rate, rule, and form evaluations of primary competitors.
- Research and analyze regulatory changes and provide management with necessary updates.
- Support rate and form filings with state Departments of Insurance (DOI) and Offices of Insurance Regulation (OIR).
- Create and maintain rate profiles and market analysis, tracking competitor filings and pricing trends.
- Perform data extraction, validation, and analysis to support operational departments.
- Identify and resolve rating discrepancies, ensuring pricing and reserving strategies align with company goals.
- Develop and document business requirements, conduct testing, and ensure timely and accurate updates.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis and industry trends.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Risk Management, Finance, Statistics, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance, preferably in product analysis.
- Strong understanding of insurance concepts, contract interpretation, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or R.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with Guidewire software is a plus.
- CPCU, AINS, API, or equivalent insurance certification preferred.
