Our clinical nursing staff collaborates with patients, pharmacists, and physicians to deliver optimal infusion therapy care in a private practice setting. Our nurses manage the coordination of care and nursing functions of an infusion site with the practice. They are responsible for infusion patients, referral management, and drug and supply inventories. They have the opportunity to interact with patients on a daily basis by instructing them of the medication and disease process, educating and administering drugs, and safely monitoring and following up as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS::
1. A minimum of 1 year experience as an LPN/RN
2. Recent intravenous administration and catheter management experience
3. Critical care and/or home infusion experience a plus!
4. Excellent assessment skills
5. Good communication, organizational, and customer service skills
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Comprehensive nursing assessment
2. PIV and Central line care and access
3. Patient teaching and/or instructions of medication and disease process
4. Medication preparation and administration
5. Patient safety, monitoring, and follow-up
6. Coordination of care with other disciplines
7. Manage the nursing functions of the site

Summary
