Winfield Senior Living Community is looking for an RN or LPN to join our Clinical Team!!
6am to 6pm
As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the RN/LPN delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and WSLC standards.
Your role will involve monitoring and reporting changes in the patient’s condition on a daily basis, you must be able to assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to CNAs.

- Complete accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation
- Complete/receive accurate shift report

- Knowledge of the principles, methods, and standards of professional nursing
- Maintain appropriate communication with physicians and families regarding changes in resident’s condition.
- Order prescribed medications, supplies, and equipment as necessary, and in accordance with established facility policies.
- Respond to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol.
- Explains procedures and treatments to residents to gain trust and cooperation
- Maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel, as well as other departments within the facility
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN or LPN
- Maintain a current unencumbered license to practice in the state of Kansas
- One (1) year experience as a Charge Nurse preferred
- High Scholl Diploma or equivalent
