We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Manage and mentor a team of automotive technicians, providing guidance on best practices in automotive repair.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring all issues are resolved promptly.
- Coordinate and schedule service appointments, ensuring optimal use of resources and time.
- Perform service writing duties, documenting customer requests and technician recommendations accurately.
- Upsell additional services such as brake repairs, oil changes, tire services, and auto body repairs to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality assurance.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions for future reference.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive repair with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with service writing processes and upselling techniques.
- Experience in managing a team within an automotive service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of auto estimating practices is advantageous.
- Skills in specific areas such as suspension systems, brake repair, oil changes, tire services, and auto body repair are highly desirable.
