Position Summary:

In your role as a QMAP, you will be responsible for the medication administration and treatment program to the residents. Assist the entire caregiving department to ensure that the residents are safe, well cared for and comfortable. Complies with federal, state and local standards for facility operation. Not certified, No Problem!! We will assist in obtaining QMAP Certification!!!!

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Administering medication and completion of daily shift reports.
- The ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
- Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance and services according to the health care provider's orders.
- Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following community and regulatory guidelines.
- Report any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors.
- Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
- Document daily log of assistance.
- Follow the schedule of resident's needs set out by supervisor.
- Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One (1) years of experience preferred.
- Must have current Med Tech or QMAP certification. Certification must remain current during employment.
- CPR certification
- First Aide Certification
