Senior Human Resources Generalist (On-Site)

We are currently looking to add a Senior Human Resources Generalist to our Denver HQ team. This is an on-site position in our downtown Denver headquarters and reports to the CHRO.
Job Summary
Under the leadership of our CHRO, the Senior HR Generalist at Frontline Road Safety Group will play a pivotal role in driving successful merging and integration of newly acquired companies, be a liaison to our Frontline operating companies in the areas of compliance and reporting and oversee special projects within the HR department.
Essential Job Functions
- Establish and maintain a strong customer service orientation within the HR department and throughout Frontline Road Safety Group.
- Due diligence and integration activities for M&A projects including benefits and compensation analysis, legal compliance and employment law reviews, audits, and serve as the point of contact for HR activities.
- Work closely with CHRO, VP M&A, VP PMO, and division teams during simultaneous M&A projects from end to end.
- Support and drive a robust M&A program while constantly working to simplify M&A processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, coordinate integration activities, track and execute plans for acquired companies.
- Provide regular updates regarding the status and progress of diligence and integration with the appropriate reporting tools.
- Lead employee briefing and training session to onboard acquired employees.
- Assist in any HR and Payroll systems implementation or related enhancements.
- Participate in a wide variety of special HR projects, compile a variety of reports, complete audits and compliance reviews.
- Respond to internal and external requests for HR-related service, information, and/or data.
- Develop and maintain compliant HR records and files.
- Provide and share best practice HR knowledge within Frontline Road Safety Group as needed.
- Maintain current knowledge of HR compliance and best practices; streamline existing internal HR processes as appropriate, working with internal stakeholders to obtain buy-in.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute job descriptions in accordance with state and federal law and collective bargaining agreements.
- Maintain HR policies and Employee Handbooks that align with Frontline Road Safety Group culture and meet compliance requirements.
- Oversee and administer HR policies and practices in compliance with employment law and collective bargaining agreements.
- Investigate, and/or respond as appropriate to sensitive and complex internal or external issues, complaints, and/or grievances.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; adaptable and skilled at stepping into new situations and collaborate well with others.
- Principles, practices, and techniques of human resources administration, organization, and operation.
- Knowledge of relevant state and federal employment laws and regulations.
- High attention to detail and proclivity for planning and coordinating across complex workstreams.
- Strong understanding of benefits, payroll, and compensation regulations.
- Methods and techniques for professional recordkeeping, business writing, reporting, and project management.
- Quickly develop a solid working knowledge of company policies and procedures and collective bargaining agreements.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid computer/technology skills.
- Researching, data collection, manipulation, and reporting skills.
- Excellent program management skills, executing against timelines.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals at all levels of Frontline Road Safety Group.
- Participate in the establishment of department and company goals, objectives, and methods for evaluating achievement and performance levels.
- Resilient in a fast-paced environment of challenging and evolving priorities.
- Accurately analyze, interpret, and evaluate complex administrative and technical issues and data and make appropriate recommendations for action.
- Travel required.
Education and/or Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or closely related field.
- Minimum of five years of increasingly responsible Human Resources Generalist experience.
- Project and uphold the highest ethical standards and have demonstrated leadership ability and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred:
- HR Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) or advanced training.
- M&A experience.

COMPETITIVE PAY/BENEFITS PACKAGE
- Pay range will be commensurate with knowledge/skills/abilities but should fall in the range of $80-110K.
