Description

Provides administrative support to FrontLine Service, contributing to the efficient operation and prompt service of clients and visitors. Responsibilities include:

  • Patient check-in and check-out function at the front desk
  • Assist with high-volume multi-line telephone
  • Monitor the schedule daily for missed appointments and send appropriate communications to staff
  • Verifying patient demographics in EMR and updating as new information becomes available
  • Patient scheduling in EMR
  • Work closely with the Integrated Behavioral Health Service team when onsite to ensure that both EMR’s accurately reflect appointment times and services
  • Monitor’s flow of appointments in the clinic and notifies the clinic manager or appropriate staff if someone has been waiting too long. Appropriately utilize current code protocols as needed.
  • Ensures confidentiality of clinical information in accordance with established guidelines and procedures
  • Other administrative support and projects as needed. Assists in maintaining department supplies and equipment levels
  • Assist client and staff with coordination of mail, both internal and external

This is a non-exempt, union position with a minimum-starting wage $15.50 per hour.

The hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

 

 

Qualifications


Qualified candidates must possess a High School diploma and a minimum of 3 years work experience in a medical group practice setting, EMR and insurance filing experience
