Description
Provides administrative support to FrontLine Service, contributing to the efficient operation and prompt service of clients and visitors. Responsibilities include:
- Patient check-in and check-out function at the front desk
- Assist with high-volume multi-line telephone
- Monitor the schedule daily for missed appointments and send appropriate communications to staff
- Verifying patient demographics in EMR and updating as new information becomes available
- Patient scheduling in EMR
- Work closely with the Integrated Behavioral Health Service team when onsite to ensure that both EMR’s accurately reflect appointment times and services
- Monitor’s flow of appointments in the clinic and notifies the clinic manager or appropriate staff if someone has been waiting too long. Appropriately utilize current code protocols as needed.
- Ensures confidentiality of clinical information in accordance with established guidelines and procedures
- Other administrative support and projects as needed. Assists in maintaining department supplies and equipment levels
- Assist client and staff with coordination of mail, both internal and external
This is a non-exempt, union position with a minimum-starting wage $15.50 per hour.
The hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must possess a High School diploma and a minimum of 3 years work experience in a medical group practice setting, EMR and insurance filing experience
