The Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Shallow Subsidy intervention is designed to provide ongoing housing stabilization assistance and services to Veterans and their families after their immediate housing crisis has been resolved by SSVF Rapid Re-Housing interventions or by SSVF Homelessness Prevention interventions. Following the progressive engagement approach, the SSVF Shallow Subsidy Case Manager will engage the SSVF Veteran in lighter-touch case management interventions with an emphasis on regular home visits and the utilization of benefits / programs designed to increase income, self-sufficiency, and quality of life.
SSVF is a collaborative project and requires a high level of cooperation and teamwork among program staff and community partners in our effort to end and prevent Veteran homelessness. The SSVF Shallow Subsidy Case Manager reports to Veteran Stability Coordinator under the direction of the SSVF Program Manager and the Director of Emergency Housing Services.
This is a non-exempt, union position with a minimum-starting wage of $18.00 per hour.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree with specialization in social, behavioral or human services, or be a veteran with a combination of education and related experience
